Translation of Romeos speech about fate.

‘I fear too early, for my mind misgives’

My mind is warning me of something and I fear something.

‘Some consequence yet hanging in the stars’

There is a consequence yet to happen but it is waiting to happen.

‘Shall bitterly begin his fearful date’

This consequence will be revealed and will happen

‘With this night’s revels, and expire the term’

It will happen tonight at this party…

‘Of a despised life clos’d in my breast’

… It will put an end to this period of a life I despise enclosed in me.

‘By some vile forfeit of untimely death’

Someone will die before their time

”But He that hath thstreet rage of my course’

But God that decides and makes the choices I have to make throughout my life.

‘Direct my sail! On, lusty gentlemen.’

Direct me, I will follow you guys.

It’s good to see you systematically looking at the lines.

    A couple of small additions:

    1) I think it is the terrible fate that is being triggered this night
    2) I think it is HIS untimely death that he can see

Have a look again at the original shakespearian lines and see if you agree…
